Lovely Riad and professional staff
Dear Monsieur Parent, We recently had the pleasure of staying at your lovely Riad Louna. We were very impressed with the staff there, all very polite and helpful, and the marvellous cooking too. It seemed to us that Fettah in particular was the star of the operation, keeping his finger on the pulse and quietly making everything run perfectly. We felt he deserved a special recommendation, which is why I am writing to you. If we come to Fez again, we would love to return, and will strongly recommend any friends to do the same.

Nous avons séjourné au Riad Louna les 18, 19 et 20 novembre (suite Messria), et nous tenons à vous dire quel plaisir nous avons eu à bénéficier de votre accueil, de vos services, de la cuisine aussi. Bravo pour le professionnalisme, avec la note personnelle qui fait un accueil presque familial. Nous avons vraiment apprécié, et nous le ferons savoir. Nous souhaitons plein succès à l’équipe qui anime ce très beau lieu ! Ce fut un excellent point de départ pour découvrir Fès. Très cordialement à vous tous.

Dear Jeane Pierre, I wanted to write and thank you and your staff for providing a very comfortable and enjoyable visit for me and my family while we were in Fez. We would gladly recommend others to stay in the Riad Louna. In particular though, I wanted to bring to your personal attention a staff member who excelled in his work. I meant to tell you this yesterday, but forgot to in the process of trying to get the credit card machine to work. The employee I refer to has been at the Riad Louna only a short while and he was an English Literature student at the University. He is married, seemed to be about 28-30 years old, and has young children. I believe his name had two syllables and started with either “J” or “W” (Wahib or Jawed I think??). This fine young man made a big, positive impact on my whole family. He has a true heart of a servant, was very friendly and helpful, and you should know that he is very loyal to you and the Riad Louna. It was clear to all of us that his main goal was to see that your guests left Fez with a very high opinion of your Riad. He was also quite honest in my opinion. I am taking the time to write this note because I also manage people in my work. As a manager myself, I know the value of having honest, loyal, hard working employees on my team. We had many good experiences in Morocco (plus a few disappointing ones), but the best experience of all the people we met was this fine young man (and my wife and two teenage sons agree). Nous sommes bien de retour chez nous, et Riad Louna nous manque ! Ici il fait plus froid, et les couleurs du paysage sont celles d’automne.
Nous tenons à vous remercier mille fois pour la réussite de notre visite. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve, et votre gentillesse, votre efficacité et la chaleur de l’accueil Riad Louna en faisaient une grande partie. Le charme et la tranquillité n’étaient pas négligeables non plus …
Je voudrais dire un super-grand merci pour les leçons de cuisine, que j’ai beaucoup appréciées. Khadija, Latifa I et Malika, c’était pour moi un très bon moment qu’on a passé ensemble (malgré les larmes pendant la préparation des oignons !), et j’espère vous revoir bientôt dans la cuisine de Riad Louna.
Bref, tout était exactement ce qu’on cherchait et plus ! Vous faites exactement ce qui est expliqué sur vos sites web – on est tranquille, et on se sent vraiment chez soi, mais vous êtes toujours discrètement là pour répondre à toutes nos besoins et nos questions. Nous ferons tout pour que cette visite ne soit pas la dernière chez vous.
